The Youth Red Cross (YRC) unit at Baba Mastnath University (BMU), Asthal Bohar, Rohtak, plays a vital role in fostering humanitarian values, civic awareness, and selfless community service among students. The YRC operates in alignment with the core ideals of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), aiming to instill voluntary service, health promotion, hygiene consciousness, and emergency response capabilities.

Key Activities & Initiatives

Health Awareness Rallies: Regular health awareness rallies organized on World Red Cross Day across campus and neighboring communities to educate the public on sanitation and preventive healthcare.
State-Level Training Camps: 7-day comprehensive YRC residential training camps focusing on disaster management, first aid certifications, emergency relief, and social leadership.

Boys State-Level Youth Red Cross Training Camp

Date: 26th to 31st October 2023

Venue: Shree Nangli Bela Ashram, Bhupat Wala, Haridwar, Uttarakhand

Delegation: 7 BMU Volunteers led by Dr. Sanjay Kumar (YRC Programme Coordinator)

Key Achievements: 3rd Position in Group Dance across Haryana State; Dr. Sanjay Kumar awarded 'Best Programme Coordinator'.

Girls State-Level Youth Red Cross Training Camp

Date: 7th to 12th February 2024

Venue: Shree Nangli Bela Ashram, Bhupat Wala, Haridwar, Uttarakhand

Delegation: 11 Girls Volunteers, Programme Coordinator Dr. Sanjay Kumar, and Counsellor Dr. Neha Arya
