Objective

The following are the main objectives of the University:

  • To carry out teaching and research and offer continuing education programmes.
  • To create centres of excellence for research and development and for sharing knowledge and its application.
  • To maintain the academic standard of degrees, diplomas, certificates and other academic distinctions as per by-laws and ensure conformity with regulatory guidelines.
  • To pursue any other objective as may be approved by the Government.
