National Cadet Corps (NCC)
Baba Mastnath University proudly hosts an active National Cadet Corps (NCC) wing—empowering boys since 2001 and girls since 2021 under the auspices of the 1 Haryana Battalion NCC, Rohtak. Our NCC unit has flourished under the dedicated guidance of Associate NCC Officer Prof. (Dr.) Anil Dudy, who has played an instrumental role in molding future generations with leadership, patriotism, and discipline.
Our cadets have earned numerous prestigious accolades at both national and inter-group levels. Several cadets participate in high-altitude trekking camps, adventurous expeditions, and National Integration Camps (NIC), consistently securing merit positions and medals.
Aims and Objectives: The NCC unit aims to develop character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure, and ideals of selfless service among young citizens.
Motto of NCC: The motto of NCC is “Unity and Discipline” (adopted on 23 Dec. 1957), serving as a cohesive force bringing together youth from across the country into united and disciplined citizens.
Comprehensive Training: The unit provides rigorous training in trekking, mountaineering, river rafting, weapon training, map reading, obstacle courses, and self-defense.
Armed Forces Success: BMU's NCC unit has a proud legacy of grooming future officers for the Indian Armed Forces, with multiple alumni serving across the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
Annual Training Camps (ATC): The 10-day compulsory Annual Training Camp is organized by 1 Haryana Battalion NCC, focusing on field-craft, weapon handling, drill, and team leadership.
Social Outreach & Community Service: Cadets spearhead initiatives including environmental protection drives, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, mega blood donation camps, and tree plantation drives.
Enrollment & Recruitment: Recruitment commences during odd semesters through structured physical endurance tests, medical fitness screenings, and written evaluations.
