Dear Students,
I would like to extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you. True education is the preparation of the physical, mental and moral powers for the performance of every duty; it is the training of body, mind and soul for divine service. These words encapsulate the essence of our educational mission. As a Dean of Sciences let me succinctly introduce the role and realm of science since the origin of human civilization.
Since time immemorial when the man started interacting with nature, he realized that different matter behave differently. From that time to today's modern world, the pursuit of mankind is almost same but in the process of coming of age, we have gathered enough information about the matter and also how the properties of matter can be exploited for benefit of mankind. The scientific knowledge and information that has been gathered along this journey is classified into the courses of Physical/Life Sciences.
Moreover, the mushrooming industrial growth at the cost of environment has raised concerns about the environment. Therefore, the search for green technologies has become imperative. Therefore, in an endeavour to explore green technologies, clues will be offered by deeper and clear understanding of courses offered by Physical/Life Sciences.
I conclude by extending my heartfelt wishes for a successful and fulfilling academic journey in Baba Mastnath University. May your time at BMU be transformative, empowering you to flourish academically, morally and spiritually.
